On the subject of repealing ObamaCare, Senator McConnell said this yesterday,
"If you thought it was a good idea for the federal government to go in this direction, I'd say the odds are still on your side," McConnell said. "Because it's a lot harder to undo something than it is to stop it in the first place."
I have news for you Senator, Keith Hennessey has laid out the roadmap for you to follow in repealing ObamaTax, er...ObamaCare. If you are not up to the job, please step aside and let someone else do the job. Lead, follow, or get the hell out of the way!
Here is the video of White House Chief of Staff and lying crapweasel Jack Lew being embarrassed by Chris Wallace on Fox News. Is the Administration really stupid enough to run with this line of "reasoning"?
So the SCOTUS decided that despite Administration claims to the contrary, the Mandate in ObamaCare was a tax and therefore permissible. Well I have news for Democrats out there; It.Is.On.
We who value our freedom know that this is bullshit and we will make you pay at the polls in November. Want to raise $1.7T in taxes? Great because we will let the voters know all about it. Now that the shock is wearing off, you will find that we are energized. We will take the White House and grab the Senate and then ram this down your throat just like you did to the American people. You will rue this day.
P.S. How badly did you miscalculate? So badly that I am back to blogging!
The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals reached the obvious conclusion that the mandate in ObamaCare is unConstitutional.
"This economic mandate represents a wholly novel and potentially unbounded assertion of congressional authority: the ability to compel Americans to purchase an expensive health insurance product they have elected not to buy, and to make them re-purchase that insurance product every month for their entire lives."
Surprisingly, the three judge panel was split. The dissenting judge clearly thinks that the Commerce Clause allows Congress almost unlimited power. I have often wondered if we are on a trajectory in which the Constitution becomes subservient to the Commerce Clause contained within. Next step, the Supreme Court.
One only needed to pay cursory attention to the coverage of Obama and McCain to see how deeply in the tank for Obama the vast majority of the media was during the 2008 election cycle. Now we have proof that the media's support of Obama included not just glowing coverage but the mother's milk of politics, money. Surprised? Me neither.
Rick Santelli drops the hammer on Democrat Paul Kanjorski in this clip. You see, it is just "too complicated" to fix Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae so we will keep dumping money into them...on top of the $145B already spent bailing them out.
