D-Day; 65 Years Ago Today

On this day 65 years ago, the Allies invaded Normandy and it was the beginning of the end for Hitler and Nazi Germany. The heroism and sacrifice shown that day stands as an example for all time. The US Army has a video here. Go watch it and reflect on those great men that stormed a hostile shore for freedom.

The Funniest Comments Section, EVAH!!

Hilarity ensues! You do not want to have a beverage in hand while reading this and you should be warned that there are plenty of bad words but...it is still one of th efunniest things I have read recently. WaPo Attempts To Cover For Obama Incompetence

The Washington Post has a nice puff piece on why President Obama has been sitting on his ass eating pizza while the pirates embarrass the hell out of us and expose the new administration as being ineffective. The last paragraph of the story says it all,

But many on the national security team insist that it is their caution and willingness to consider all aspects of the situation that differentiate them from the overly aggressive posture of the Bush administration that they say exacerbated the terrorist threat.

Sure. Bush has nothing to do with this and we were not targeted by pirates like this because the previous administration was respected and feared. the inability to make a decision and the weakness shown by Team Obama puts us all in danger. Blaming President Bush for all our troubles is the classless way that our new President has dealt with domestic issues. President Obama does not have that luxury in this instance. Eventually, he has to take ownership of his Presidency and make a decision. The buck stops with him and from I can see so far, that is not a good thing. Let the weakening of America proceed!

President Obama Stabs Israel In The Back In Full View Of The World

President Obama's first call to a foreign leader was to President Abbas of the Palestinian Authority? Are you frakking kidding me? What, Osama Bin Laden wasn't available to answer the phone?

The middle east is important, so reach out to Israel. Then the Palestinians. Why does his calling Abbas first matter? The symbolism. He did not call a friend, such as Israel, (or Britain, Canada or Australia for that matter), he called the Palestinians. You know, the ones that elected Hamas as their government. The same Hamas that is currently busy smuggling rockets into the PA and then firing them into Israel. This is not a good sign. Clearly Samantha Power has the President's ear and he does not know the good guys from the bad.

Obama On Osama; Uhhh Never Mind

Now that The One is about to take office, killing the other O-man is no longer important. Says Obama,

"If we have so tightened the noose that he's in a cave somewhere and can't even communicate with his operatives, then we will meet our goal of protecting America."

Frankly, I agree with this position. The point is that Obama and the democrats beat President Bush over the head with the fact we had not killed Osama during the last two elections. Now reality is setting in. It is not so easy to find someone in the mountains in the middle of nowhere. Anyway, let's hope they are both right.

This Casts Doubt On Obama's Commitment To Israel

Samantha Power has been brought back to the Obama team to assist with the transition. She resigned from the campaign for calling Hillary Clinton a monster. However the more important issue has been Power's anti-Israel stance on middle east issues. This is a troubling development. Israel and her supporters should be concerned.
