Major Chuck Z. at TC Override has a post that details a need for athletic footwear for the troops at Landstuhl Army Medical Center. Soldier's Angels in Germany is riding point on this effort. Word is that you can pick up a pair of shoes relatively cheaply at Land's End and they have waived shipping in many cases when you mention where they are going. It is only a few bucks and will help someone that is protecting us all. Mrs. Opinionator picked up a pair of shoes and a package of socks today and I am mailing tomorrow. Don't forget socks!
