.....Dirty stores as the staff rarely comes out from behind the counter to clean up. As a customer I am not impressed by dirty stores and tables. As a shareholder, I am pissed off. Picture taken at Starbucks on Evans Road in Cary, NC about 4pm. There were no customers in line to occupy the staff. The table next to it is covered in crumbs as well. I sent them a Twitter about it in the past. I was referred to a phone number. Guess they only use modern tools for marketing. Cross-posted at Giving You The Business.
Starbucks' problem isn't dirty stores. It's whoring itself out to grow as big as possible, as fast as possible. It's hiring every monkey who can count on their fingers and calling them a "barista" to keep the doors open on the three or four new cafes that opened every day. It's selling movies and CDs and books and forgetting about coffee.
